To access certain features of Tico.Social, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Contractor Services

Tico.Social provides a platform for contractors to offer their services. We do not employ or endorse any contractors listed on our platform. Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence and verifying the qualifications, licenses, and insurance of any contractor they hire. Tico.Social is not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from the services provided by contractors.

5. Payments and Fees

Users agree to pay all fees associated with the services they request through Tico.Social. Payment terms, including rates, payment schedules, and cancellation policies, are determined by the individual contractors. Tico.Social may charge a service fee for facilitating transactions on the platform. All fees are subject to change with notice.

6. User Conduct

You agree to use Tico.Social in a manner that is lawful, respectful, and consistent with these Terms and Conditions. You must not:

  • Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of Tico.Social or the servers or networks used to make Tico.Social available.
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

All content on Tico.Social, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Tico.Social or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, modify, distribute, or display any content from Tico.Social without our prior written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tico.Social shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of Tico.Social, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Costa Rica, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Costa Rica.
